ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Jacqueline Underwood is the founder, CEO, and lead instructor of U Matter Academy. While working as a Bachelor's prepared RN, she became a Phlebotomy instructor. She has trained nurses and phlebotomy students in hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. After obtaining her Master's Degree in Nursing, she made the decision to open U Matter. U Matter LLC is intended to target students that are unable to attend a traditional college. Our courses are short programs that will allow students to work while obtaining an exciting career.

U Matter Academy Mission and Objectives

UM's mission and objectives are to provide up-to-date, state-of-the-art, phlebotomy training to individuals interested in receiving this training.

The Objective for UM is to educate high-quality, well-trained, competent phlebotomists who can use their skills to benefit patients and employers.

U Matter is a private institution that is approved to operate in Alabama.
